We, Pauline & Birk, are excited to invite you to a very special celebration—our Kikuyu Traditional Wedding Ceremony (Ruracio) on 14th February 2026 in Kenya.

After our civil ceremony in Sweden, this event is a heartfelt moment for us to honor our Kenyan roots, join our families in tradition, and celebrate with those we love most.

🛖 What is Ruracio?

Ruracio is a Kikuyu traditional wedding ceremony where the groom’s family formally asks for the bride’s hand in marriage. It is a beautiful, symbolic celebration filled with song, ritual, and blessings, marking the union of two families in love and respect.

Whether you’re familiar with the tradition or experiencing it for the first time, this will be a joyful and meaningful event—and we’d be honored to have you there.

📍 Location:** Kenya, Nairobi (Exact venue to be shared with confirmed guests)

We are still finalizing the venue and some finer details, but we will share all the information with our confirmed guests as the day approaches.
